Now look at Monica's Garden.

Sunday, August 01, 2010

The Circle needed to be extended to stop people falling off the edge. More turf to fill in the gaps, the pergola is painted a nice country cream colour. The grass is looking rich and billowy despite the long hot summer.
New garden taking shape,

New turf laid, Stone circle (hidden under cloth)
Pergola specially made, unique shape to fit the garden design.

(original garden above)
Monica's Garden in Thornton Heath,
Monica needed to change her garden so that she would be inspired to relax and read in peace and harmony. To start with the garden was a touch dull not untidy but lacking in personality.
So we got together some good ideas of Monica's and my own which lead to creating
a new garden with style and personality.

I really like this picture one in a million

A grey pebbled soil, very dry in a garden with a bank half way down , sloping away from the house. I have been the gardener for the house for several years and believe me the slope makes the grass cutting very awkward. Transformation... New wooden walls, new steps, lots of top soil and new plants.

A truely inspired Garden that i did not design.
Containing drinks platform in the tree,
waterfall and
a swimming pond.

I do my part to maintain and develope this theme under the direction of the owners.
nearly 2 acres in all.

Natural planting of Rhododrendren and silver birch on a harsh gravelly soil.

This Garden is about 70' x 25' very sunny and bright,

June had quite a few ideas of her own,but she did not know where to start. So she called plans4plants
